playdates & popsicles, two of my son’s favorite things….

….and he is my favorite thing. This site is dedicated to him and all of our adventures as we learn and grow together. Filled with the little moments that become big memories

Friday Favorites #1

Hello Friday!

Time for a round up of my favorites from the week.

It has been HOT here this week. I’m talking about every day being over 110…. So a lot of these items relate to that

I will try to narrow it down to my top five every week

ONE- Keen Sandals

coming in hot ( no pun intended;) ) in the number one spot, the Keen sandals! This is Logan’s second pair of the sandals. They are pretty pricey (about 55$), but they are so worth it. We have tried the knock off brands to see if they were anywhere close and to save us a little bit of money, but we quickly returned them. These bad boys are waterproof, have a protected toe, and are great for wide feet! Logan has been living in them.

TWO- The Noggle

a friend of mine had this (shout of Kelsey) and it has some flaws, but it gets the job done! I have been debating about this one for a while because it’s a little pricey in my opinion, about 80$, but in our truck the air doesn’t get to the backseat as well. This helps!

THREE-Liquid IV

between triple digit temps and chasing a toddler around all day, I feel like I wasn’t staying hydrated enough. These help immensely! I drank one everyday I was breastfeeding also. Our family is a big fan of liquid IV. Some people say they have too much sugar, and there are sugar free flavors available too!

FOUR- Hawaiian Tropic Mineral Powder Sunscreen

downloaded the “Yuka” app, which is AMAZING! But sent me down the rabbit hole of looking at all our products. (That’s a post for another day). Anyways, this sunscreen was highly rated and it’s so easy to apply on my toddler who doesn’t like to hold still for sunscreen reapplications. I mainly use this on his face and it fits perfectly in my bag!

FIVE- Independence Day

my second favorite holiday! BBQ, swimming, family/friends, summer, America….. so many things to love about this day! Except the fact it was 110. Thankfully we spent the whole day in the pool! Logan had a blast
